The Center of Lucerne Turns Digital
Very close to the Kappelbrücke, within the central railway station of Lucerne you find the Tourist Information of Lucerne. Here you can find everything about exciting walks, events, cultural happenings and city tours. You can explore current events and get hints on the most beautiful places and attractions in the Lucerne-Vierwaldstädtersee region. There are tickets for numerous mountain railways, public transport and ship routes over the lake. In addition, the team takes care of hotel reservations, they provide a real 360 degree service.
Since March 2013, Lucerne Tourism has been working with the Arcavis cash register system (6 checkout locations). And since last month available now: ReceiptHero. Customers now benefit from the ability to get sustainable digital receipts quickly and easily. The data is transmitted by Arcavis via an interface to ReceiptHero. The procedure at the checkout remains unchanged. No QR code scanning, no email query or extra button on the checkout is needed, everything runs automatically, a real win-win situation.
Stengthening Customer Relationships
A digital receipt is not the same as a paper receipt, but rather it’s a web page that a retailer displays to an end customer after the completion of the purchase process. This communication and marketing channel is an additional opportunity to strengthen customer relationships.
