VR: Supporting Finnish Business Traveler's with Real-Time Digital Receipts

VR Group, the railway company owned by the Finnish State, has officially gone live on the ReceiptHero platform. Cardholders using ReceiptHero can now purchase train tickets from the VR Matkalla app and the vr.fi website and receive a digital receipt in their expense management solution.
Receiving digital receipts in the ReceiptHero application is free of charge for consumers. With the new functionality, customers can also receive their receipts through the apps of our partners, such as Eurocard, M2, eTasku and Bezala. We will shortly announce more partners whose applications will be able to receive digital receipts.

The connectivity from ReceiptHero’s direct Visa integration meant that no separate development towards VRs mobile and web payment gateway was required, meaning the overall development time was significantly reduced and resulted in a quicker go-to market.
